About the Role

As an ION MarketView Platform Specialist, you will be integral to the Fixed Income eTrading (eFI) team within the Markets Technology division. This role focuses on delivering top-tier services for the Fixed Income business, enhancing customer experiences through automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, integrate, and test ION eTrading components.
- Re-engineer platforms to ensure stability and maintainability.
- Engage directly with stakeholders in Trading, Sales, and eFICC teams.
- Implement changes and upgrades to the ION MarketView pricing and eTrading platform.
- Coordinate changes with external vendors, markets, ECNs, and infrastructure teams.
- Tune ION topology to maintain a high-performance platform.
- Develop documentation, user guides, and conduct regular demos.
- Perform user acceptance testing during project go-live phases.
- Manage projects end-to-end with mínimal supervision

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of fixed income products, including bonds and swaps pricing, and yield curve construction.
- Hands-on experience with electronic trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, and YieldBroker.
- Proficient in ION MarketView components: MMI.NET, D2C & D2D Connectivity Gateways, TOMS, PXE, REFDATA, VMQ, Run List Manager.
- Experience in platform re-engineering, tuning, and ION failover setup.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex trading environments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Linux, including Shell and Python scripting.
- Experience in automating and building tools for managing e-trading platforms.
- Background in developing Fixed Income electronic trading systems, preferably in Java.
- Ability to build high-throughput, low-latency Java software, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Self-starter with an agile mindset and a strong desire to achieve business goals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ION MarketView or Anvil platforms.
- Familiarity with ION/Anvil components such as MMI, System Administrator, PXE, RefData, TRPM solution, VMO, D2C and D2D market gateways.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg FIT, TOMS, and other fixed income trading systems.
- Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments, including tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, shell, or Perl.
- Understanding of D2C and D2D bond, IRS, and repo markets.

Pay: $7,500.00 - $15,000.00 per month
