Southern Cross Care (QLD) is currently sourcing a Part time
**Administration Assistant **to support our
**St. Mary's Residential Aged Care** home based in
**Raceview**.

**Permanent Part time **position available. This role is a member of a professional administrative support team which reports directly to the Residential Manager and provides a range of administrative functions as a collective to the home.

**Some of the duties will include**:

- Assisting with new admissions to the facility
- Liaising with residents and their families to support the transition into care from an administrative perspective
- Reception duties - face to face and over the phone
- Process invoices in preparation for payment and maintenance of petty cash
- Maintain staff personal records including registrations and certificates
- Assist in minute taking for committee meetings as required
- Experience working in an administrative role within Aged Care (desired but not essential)
- Excellent administrative and reception experience
- Understanding of staff rosters
- High level of computer literacy across the full Microsoft suite
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, you are someone who is welcoming with good communication skills.
- Time, task and priority management
- Up to date COVID 19 and flu vaccinations

You will be efficient, approachable, reliable and bring enthusiasm and a can do attitude to your work.
