**The Centre**

**Chermside Early Education Centre** is located on Kuran St, Chermisde, one block away from Westfield Chermside and a short 650m walk from the Wavell Primary School. Our centre has been rated as an Exceeding Centre by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and cares for up to 75 children each day. We offer a huge range of high quality programs for our children such as swimming lessons, music and movement and language opportunities. We are passionate about sustainability and love to explore these practices with the children in our care.

**Position details**

The right applicant will have a strong passion for teaching in the early years. we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator for our youngest children in our Nursery. You will be programming and incorporating an educational, play based program for the children in our care, as well as leading and mentoring your team.

Skills and requirements
- Hold/Studying towards a Diploma in Early Childhood
- Hold a current blue card
- Be an open communicator and able to build strong relationships with families and work mates
- Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care

**Salary**: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
