Our client Woodside, a major global Oil & Gas operator located in Perth CBD, are currently seeking a
**Data Management and Systems Specialist** to join them for a
**12-month contract**.

**The Role |**
In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of Marketing, Trading and Shipping data standards, coordination of systems and broader architecture, as well as supply contracts for data research and systems. You will identify emerging business requirements and propose suitable governance and data management strategies, coordinating with Management, Governance, Risk & Reporting.

**Responsibilities |**
- Responsible for the overall data architecture for Marketing, Trading and Shipping, including data integrity, maintenance, update and assurance.
- Maintaining and updating internal view of Marketing and Trading systems architecture, identifying and communicating gaps and proposing solutions.
- Managing databases and processes for Marketing, Trading and Shipping data, research and systems subscriptions.
- Ensuring Marketing, Trading and Shipping are compliant with and leveraging corporate data standards.
- Administration duties, such as updating Share Point sites etc.

**About You |**
- High proficiency using SAP and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to develop systems & data architecture as well as propose solutions.
- Ability to implement and ensure corporate data standards in Marketing, Trading and Shipping.
- Ability to manage external supply contracts for data, research and systems providers and negotiate on behalf of Woodside to achieve favourable outcomes.
- Obtains a technical understanding of data management and IT.
- Problem solver - able to provide solutions with a hands-on approach.
