The Event Manager role is an integral part of the Operations team responsible for the delivery of the Night Noodle Markets across the national portfolio. This is a full time permanent role.

The focus of the role is the successful planning and delivery of The Night Noodle Markets and other food events nationally to achieve budgeted gross profit. Key focuses are delivering the events safely with world class standards across WH&S, engaging and managing key stakeholder, supplier and council relationships to deliver the events with a high level of safety, attendee satisfaction and reputational standard.

**Day to day you will**:

- Be responsible for the operational planning and delivery of Night Noodle Markets events including, event and liquor licence permitting, engaging contractors and management of the contractors, developing the production schedule, conducting pre-production meetings and ensuring event deadlines are met.
- Manage Council / land owner relationships ensuring that all documentation is delivered in a timely manner and all aspects of the event are approved including Signage and Activation plans.
- Engage and manage suppliers including, but not limited to, marquees, power & lighting, waste management, security, plumbing and other stakeholders.
- Assist the Senior Event Manager with site design including, event stallholders locations, site lighting and design and ensuring strong event flow and balance.
- Be onsite throughout the event bump in, event live and bump out periods to manage the execution of the event.
- Facilitate and manage partner activations working closely with the Sponsorship Servicing team to ensure their experience with the event and brand is seamless.
- Work closely with the Stallholder Sales Manager to provide leads on restaurants and business to be part of the event.
- Manage multiple financial budgets ensuring that the events come in on or under budget including negotiating supplier equipment and rates and engaging in comparative quoting and market testing.
- Be responsible for WH&S planning and implementation, including drafting emergency and risk documentation as well as ensuring the WH&S procedures are followed onsite and all required documentation is collected, current and relevant to the event.

**In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have**:

- Ideally have +3 years in a similar role
- A degree in Event Management or Project Management, would be favourable but not essential
- Experience in event operations management, including end-to-end management of large outdoor events.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Sound time management skill with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the year to different States to execute events.
