**About the Role**
The primary focus for this dynamic role is to deliver a seamless and whole of business sales approach through building and facilitating internal and external cross-functional sales opportunities and engagement activities in line with set KPI’s.
This position will play a pivotal role in connecting, optimising and realising opportunities across the business streams to enable profit and revenue growth in line with St John Ambulance Queensland strategy and business plans.
A key focus will be on:
- Creating new customer and business opportunities
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Grow, maintain and nurture a qualified and engaged customer database
- Capture, follow up, convert, manage and nurture inbound leads through to an active customer.
- Through outbound engagement activity including but not limited to outbound cold calling, develop and build a qualified and engaged customer database
- Support the Sales and Partnership Management team in attending expos and tradeshows
**Role Responsibilities**
- Meet or exceed KPI’s and sales targets
- Demonstrate a desire to personally provide an excellent customer service to all stakeholders internal and external
- Have well developed negotiation and resolution communication skills that supports swift resolution of service concerns
- Ensure a high quality of external customer account management and relationship development is achieved
- Listening to customers’ needs or issues and providing helpful solutions to their problems
- Build lasting relationships with clients and other team members based on trust and reliability
- Utilise software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately
- Keep a comprehensive record of all customer calls, conversations, face to face meetings and written communication in the CRM
- Research, identify and engage with new customer opportunities
**Qualifications and Attributes**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management to service and respond to enquiries in a timely manner
- The ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
- Proactive and team-focused approach to work
- Sales qualifications are viewed favourably but not required
- Experience in and understanding of sales or desire to learn
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with various departments
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM platforms
**Applications**
The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday based at our Nundah office.
Salary includes a competitive rate, not-for-profit salary packing benefits, leave entitlements, superannuation and ongoing professional development.
