Hessel GTO are currently looking for an Aged Care Trainee to begin their career at facility based in Brompton. You will become a qualified and skilled Aged Care Support Worker within 12 months

**Why a traineeship?**

A traineeship is a great way to achieve nationally recognised qualifications and kickstart a fulfilling career, all whilst getting paid from day one.

You will have the support and guidance of a dedicated Field Officer throughout your entire Traineeship journey.

**General duties you will learn and perform throughout your Traineeship include**
- Provide services including personal care
- Meal preparation
- General cleaning duties such as changing bed linens, tidying rooms
- Assist with mobility and transport to and from appointments
- Provide social support and escort elderly clients to outings and excursions
- Interpret care plans and follow health and safety guidelines

**What you will need to succeed**

To be eligible for this traineeship you must not have previously completed a Certificate III in Aged Care

No experience in the Aged Care sector is needed. You will require a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a respected industry.

Your will either hold or be willing to obtain the below:

- National Police Clearance
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination x2 and Booster
- Proof of Influenza Vaccination
- Driver's licence
- Car in good roadworthy condition and willingness to obtain a roadworthy certificate

**To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

- Brompton, SA 5007: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
