**Description**:
**The role**:
We are seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to work at one of our key education sites in Marion, just a 25-minute drive from Adelaide.
The key to our success is our people. In this hands-on role, you will provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to our valued students through meal preparation, cooking, and food service. You'll be responsible for preparing and serving meals at a busy private school.
**Roster**: Approximately 20 hours per week
Up to five days over seven (during school term time)
Availability required across weekdays and weekends

**What this role involves**:
Customer service - serving our students meals and snacks
Serving customers in our café
Dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas
Assisting with food preparation (e.g., peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches and salads)
Supporting the preparation and service of functions and conferences
Maintaining food hygiene, security, and safety standards
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of OH&S and food safety practices
Full driver’s licence required
