**_ About the Role_**

The Project Lead | Accommodation Services is responsible for the development and implementation of a range of contemporary, proactive and quality accommodation services to people with disability, leading with practical experience and a deep knowledge of working in this sector.

This position will ensure Mamre’s accommodation services are aligned with best practice, are cost effective and sustainable, compliant with NDIS quality standards and best positioned to respond to a changing landscape where innovative solutions are continually required.

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Provide overall project leadership to establish Accommodation Services
- Drive Accommodation Services growth in line with Mamre's Strategic Objectives, Values and Budget targets including but not limited to:

- Develop the project budget for each accommodation service
- Develop operational budget for each accommodation service, including leasing costs, maintenance, staffing roster to support the agreed schedule of services, and to ensure the cost-effective, sustainable provision of services
- Source appropriate accommodation and secure lease.
- Prepare accommodation so that it is fit for occupancy
- Work with Marketing Manager to promote and secure accommodation customers
- Work with Intake to ensure appropriate accommodation customers progressed and ‘roommate matching’ occurs
- Work with recruitment to source Support Workers
- Commission each accommodation service and oversee operations for 2-4 weeks, then provide a comprehensive handover to ED Operations & Quality.
- Stay abreast of latest developments in the NDIS and make recommendations regarding new accommodation business opportunities that support and progress Mamre's strategic direction
- Ensure relationship management with customers receiving Accommodation Services and their families is prioritised
- Maintain regular contact with accommodation Services customers to ensure Mamre is in touch with changing needs and is meeting service expectations

**KEY CAPABILITIES REQUIRED**

**Essential**:

- Demonstrated business development success with significant project leadership and management experience
- Extensive experience in the successful development and implementation of new and innovative service initiatives including a demonstrated understanding and knowledge of risk management, review processes and continuous improvement
- Experience with leading and managing Supported Accommodation will be highly regarded
- Extensive experience in the disability services sector with sound knowledge of current sector initiatives, trends, conceptual models and contemporary frameworks and approaches
- Sound skills and experience in managing budgets, human resources, working within governance processes, legislative frameworks and contractual obligations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, people with disability and their supporters
- High level written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience in effectively communicating complex information to a wide range of audiences

**QUALIFICATIONS/LICENCES/CERTIFICATIONS**

**Essential**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Allied Health or a related field
- Project Management qualifications will be highly regarded
- Current Queensland Driver's license
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 & influenza and maintenance of vaccine protection
