At **Modern Medicine Launceston**, we’re reshaping how healthcare is delivered — blending excellence in clinical care with a warm, welcoming environment that feels human. As our clinic grows, we’re looking for a **Full-Time Medical Receptionist** to be the glue that holds it all together — ensuring every patient, podiatrist, and practitioner has the support they need to deliver outstanding care.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Greet patients and manage the day-to-day front desk operations
- Coordinate bookings, cancellations, recalls, and referrals with efficiency and care
- Maintain strict standards for sterilisation of instruments (autoclaving, tracking logs, etc.)
- Assist with treatment room resets, general clinic cleaning, and stock management
- Support our clinicians by liaising with GPs, specialists, NDIS coordinators, and allied health teams
- Handle payments, Medicare and private health claims, and reconcile daily takings

**You’ll Be a Great Fit If You**:

- Have prior experience in a medical, dental, or allied health clinic
- Understand (or are eager to learn) infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Are confident on the phone, in person, and with admin systems
- Bring calm, clarity, and care to a fast-paced environment
- Are familiar with tools like Cliniko, Nookal, or Halaxy — or quick to learn
- Have a can-do attitude and enjoy supporting others to succeed

Highly Regarded:

- Certificate III or IV in Health Administration
- Prior experience in podiatry, dental, or procedural-based clinics
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and appointment funding structures
