The **ILO Practitioner** plays a vital role in delivering UC’s **Independent Living Options** program, ensuring participants enjoy a secure, supportive, and personalised living environment in alignment with their identified goals.

**This is a full-time permanent position.**

Additionally, you will provide guidance and supervision to **ILO Coordinators**, overseeing the execution of program objectives while ensuring strict adherence to these goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, report, and actively reduce or eliminate the use of Restrictive Practices.
- Deliver training, support, and supervision to staff and contractors on positive behavior support and restrictive practices.
- Implement support mechanisms for the proactive identification and education regarding restrictive practices.
- Conduct regular home visits and reviews to ensure high-quality care and support in line with participant goals.

**What will you be doing?**
- Provide training, support and supervision to staff and contractors on positive behaviour support and restrictive practices
- Support mechanisms for the proactive identification of any restrictive practices and the ongoing education and support of staff
- Provide ongoing monitoring of, and support to, contractors providing ILO arrangements to ensure contractor obligations are met, documentation is up to date and concerns are handled in a proactive manner.
- Undertake regular home visits and reviews with participants to ensure that participants are receiving high quality care and support that is meeting their identified goals.
