**About the role**
Based in our Adelaide branch, APG is on the lookout for a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Leading Hand to become part of our incoming team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for guiding your team to meet daily targets, maintaining high-quality standards, promoting a safe work environment, and ensuring efficient service delivery to keep our customers satisfied.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and guide the team to achieve business targets efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager for shipment planning, container arrivals, unloading, collection, and reporting discrepancies.
- Oversee the stock putaway process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, mínimal damage, and optimal space usage.
- Ensure IBT Cages and Sea Containers are emptied and collected as required.
- Report any shortages or damage of incoming goods promptly and communicate with the purchasing department.
- Maintain site equipment, such as forklifts.
- Provide leadership to the team, manage workloads, support performance, and ensure KPI targets and quality standards are met.
- Follow company policies, guidelines, and QA practices, ensuring the team is properly trained.
- Work closely with the Incoming Supervisor to maximize team efficiency.
- Manage site security as needed.

**About you, Skills and Experience**
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.
We are looking for a Leading Hand who has:

- A good understanding of ERP systems.
- Demonstrate prior experience as a Leading Hand or similar role.
- Knowledge or practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation.
- Highly developed problem-solving capability complemented by an authentic and passionate customer-centric approach.
- With excellent communication skills, you build great relationships.
- Forklift Licence.
