**Product Manager - Analytics
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Analytics Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and growth of our analytics products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders across the Woolworths Group, to define the product strategy, roadmap, and deliver exceptional analytics solutions.
Reporting to the Head of Risk & Assurance Technology & Analytics the role has 7 direct reports and is based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements on offer.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics product strategy and roadmap aligned with our business objectives. Identify trends, business needs, and technology landscape to drive innovation and data driven decision making
- Product Development: Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch. Define product requirements, conduct user research, and work closely with engineering and design team members to deliver high-quality analytics products and features
- Data-driven Insights: Leverage your expertise in analytics to drive data-driven decision-making. Analyze user behavior, market trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, to align on product priorities, gather requirements, and ensure successful execution of the product roadmap.
- User Experience: Advocate for exceptional user experiences by understanding customer needs, conducting usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into product iterations.
- Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and current events leading to emerging risks. Identify and evaluate opportunities that can enhance our product offerings. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide clear direction, set goals, and inspire the team to achieve product objectives.
**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in developing analytical solutions and insights and demonstrated success in delivering high-impact analytic products from conception to launch.
Further to this, you will have:
- Strong background in analytics, data science, or a related field. Proficiency in utilising analytics tools and techniques to gain insights, drive product decisions, and improve user experiences.
- Familiarity with data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and modern data technologies. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand the technical aspects of product development.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product strategies. Strong market research and analysis skills to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to distil complex concepts into clear and concise product requirements, technical specifications, and stakeholder presentations.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, and achieving results. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver exceptional products. Experience working in an Agile development environment, using methodologies such as Scrum. Familiarity with Agile tools and practices for effective project management.
