**Job Description**:
As part of Nine’s Melbourne Publicity team you will be helping to generate positive media coverage for our locally produced programs and talent. Working with top rating shows like MAFS, The Block and Lego Masters, and some of Australia’s leading television personalities, this is a rare and exciting opportunity for a junior PR professional to really take their career to the next level.

You will support two energetic and driven Publicists, as well as the Communications Manager, to foster relationships with journalists and radio producers, and promote our programs and talent internally via the Today show, Today Extra and A Current Affair. You will also support the generation of media releases, and the analysis and distribution of the daily rating reports.

Day to day you will:

- Field incoming viewer enquiries and requests for artist appearances and interviews
- Manage and maintain 9Network’s media access site
- Distribute media releases and daily ratings reports
- Assist with the team with the coordination of events
- Assist the team with the organisation of photo shoots
- Establish and maintain relationships with media and interstate publicity departments
- Coordinate travel arrangements for on air artists and publicity staff
- Process and arrange invoices
- Maintain and update media contact and distribution lists
- Collate press clippings

**Qualifications**:
You are a driven and outgoing PR or Communications graduate, who is ready to take their PR career to the next level. You are passionate about TV and all things pop-culture, and devour content on a daily basis. You have exemplary writing skills and are capable of communicating and building trusting relationships with all sorts of people. Your ability to prioritise, multi-task and stay cool, calm and collected in high-pressure situations will be key to your success.

What we would like to see on your resume and cover letter:

- A degree in PR or Communications, and a passion for a career in PR
- Some experience working at a PR agency or in an internal department, either as an intern/work experience or after graduation
- A genuine love of media and television and a good understanding of current news issues
- Evidence of a full Drivers Licence (for travel to radio stations, events etc.)
