- 8:30-4:30pm weekdays

**About the Employer**
Peter Pal is a family owned and operated business providing libraries throughout Australia and New Zealand with quality library resources and services for more than 40 years. Whilst we have grown exponentially in the past 10 years, we still maintain that family run business essence and are looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to work as part of a unit to produce quality results.
**About the Role**
Supported by the Client Services Team Leader and a small, friendly team, this role offers comprehensive training and support with an interesting career path.
The Client Services Assistance role will see you aid both the Selecting and Ordering Teams with general administration functions, basic ordering, data entry and receptionist duties when required. High level communications skills are essential. You will need to be able to work both autonomously and within a team environment. Ideally, we are looking for someone that has book industry experience/knowledge.

**Key responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Basic research functions
- Placing orders with suppliers and actioning back-order information
- Assisting the buying team with general administration tasks
- Carry out receptionist duties each Friday and when required.
- Data Entry
**To be successful for this role you must have the following**:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Work well within a small team and actively works to develop professional relationships
- Capability to manage competing deadlines and tasks
- Team focused approach and willingness to assist in all areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and key stakeholders
- A background in bookselling, publishing or libraries is advantageous, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve
- Positive can-do attitude - very important
- Attention to detail
- Reliable
- Sense of humor and fun
