Ballarto Road Primary School (interim name) is a new government primary school set to open in Term 1, 2026, at 45 Riverland Road, Clyde, within the rapidly expanding City of Casey. Designed to serve up to 525 students from Foundation to Year 6, the school is part of the Victorian Government's investment in high-quality education in growth communities and will offer a modern, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Clyde is a young and diverse community with strong family values, and the school will play a central role in supporting local educational needs. The school will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including flexible indoor learning environments, specialist teaching spaces, outdoor play and sports areas, and a co-located kindergarten, providing a seamless transition into primary education.

**Role**:
The assistant principal reports directly to the principal.

Assistant principals have a primary responsibility for the management of significant areas or functions within the school to ensure the effective development, provision and evaluation of the school's education program. In exercising the responsibility, assistant principals will have the authority to make all significant decisions relating to the program, budget and staff relating to their area of designated responsibility within the framework of the school's strategic plan, policies and budget. Assistant principals will contribute to the overall management of the school through involvement in policy formulation and decision making.
