**Our Client**
Steeped in a rich history, our Client is a beautiful European Fashion & Accessories brand with thousands of employees around the world & hundreds of boutiques Part of a broader group of leading luxury brands, this beautiful brand is continuing their penetration into the Australian market.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Regional General Manager SEA, this leadership role will be responsible for driving brand performance and manage all retail & operational initiatives in Australia. The Retail Director will focus on building and leading all retail functions of the brand, including omni-channel performance to ensure a holistic client experience & meet/exceed business targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for all store performance including improving operating efficiency, clienteling excellence, in-store sales and margin improvements
- Analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities through retail insights on competition, tourism and consumer trends
- Develop and implement commercial action plan to grow the business e.g., targeting clientele categories, incentive programs, store openings/relocations and closures if necessary
- Develop and refine omni-channel strategy to continuously deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience for both online and in-stores
- Liaise with merchandising on buyings; provide feedback and communication for product development and assortment
- Communicate vision, strategy and clear directions to retail team
- Support store leaders in developing staffing strategies and drive development plans for store teams
- Plan and take necessary steps to have optimum stock levels, appropriate merchandise mix and correct inventory control; maintain inventory discrepancies at the lowest possible level.

**Skills Required**:
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in luxury / premium retail, with a strong background in retail management & operations
- Strong leadership with the ability to develop, motivate and influence
- Excellent understanding of the Luxury Sector ideally across ANZ
- Strong understanding of Retail landscape amongst competitors
- Strong Client centric mind and clienteling ability
- Well versed with Retail operational topics
- Strong business acumen, analytical and results driven
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross department and stakeholders
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Interstate travel and occasional international is required
