Our client, Australia's largest privately owned food service company are currently looking for casual
**Production Planner**.

**The Role**
The purpose of the role is to assist in managing the day to day purchasing requirements including management of stock. This role is currently Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. 9am - approx. 5:30pm. From early/mid-Dec the role will move to Mon - Fri 9 - 5.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyse product and customer sales histories to effectively order and anticipate inventory purchasing requirements
- Run and maintain stock reports - interpreting and analysing them
- Placing and following up supplier and inter-site orders
- Reporting and Data Maintenance
- Stock movement between sites
- Stocktake and Investigations

**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a stock control role ideally in Food or FMCG
- Supply Chain understanding
- Experience in purchasing with extensive range of products
- Full understanding of HACCP and OH&S regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
