**About Us**
Master Steel specialize in the technical manufacture and assembly of steel components for the commercial, infrastructure, local councils and state government. In this position you will be part of the commercial / operations team where you will perform cost tracking, coordination, contracts administration, while meeting the client’s expectations. Further duties include:
- Strong focus on receivables and payables and compilation of payment claims and client invoicing
- Ongoing monitoring of project budgets, costs, and expenditure to ensure adherence to project budgets, project specifications and requirements
- Contract negotiations and communicating professionally with clients/suppliers/sub-contractors to finalise contract scopes and terms and conditions
- Preparing and issuing Variations / EOT’s and other contractual notices / claims
- Assisting in the month end process including accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue
- Must deliver high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints and/or other project and company requirements
- Manage company commercial tasks and support operations teams on contractual issues and disputes
- Ensuring the company meets revenue requirements and help implement it throughout the operations team
- Communicate with operations team to ensure everyone understand and comply with commercial requirements in contracts with clients and subcontractors
- Compiling scopes of works in conjunction with the project teams, tendering and analysis of subcontract / supplier bids and letting of subcontract / supplier packages
- Involved in entire organizational department - reporting directly to management team and company directors
- Manage stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts
- Conducting regular site visits (if required) to assist project teams
- Other administration / coordination duties
**About You**
- Prior experience as a Contracts Administrator / Cost Controller / Purchasing or Commercial Officer in manufacturing, construction, civil, mining, other related heavy industries
- Australian industry experience in above mentioned industries
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant legislation
- Demonstrated experience in contract and office administration
- High level of written skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $71,494.20 - $92,301.83 per year
