**Your day to day**
A typical day of a finance specialist will include;
- Reconciling vendor statements and attend to vendor queries.
- Acknowledging and identify any risk for bad debt provision in city ledger and guest ledger.
- Daily credit card and cash reconciliations, as well as regular bank-to-book matching. Assist Duty Manager in term of petty cash reimbursement and the GL coding allocation when it’s required.
- Assist in balancing daily transfer to city ledger and post, edit and update to accounts receivable system.
- Arrange daily banking where required & update the Daily Revenue System (DRS) in Peoplesoft.
**What we need from you**
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and with varying stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
- Proven experience in a finance with documented high achievements
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to think outside the square
