Employment Consultant

**The Role**

Change lives and build stronger communities as an Employment Consultant in our Cootamundra office. Our team is positive and energetic with a healthy competitiveness that creates a drive to deliver more for our clients.

Work with a caseload of job seekers with disability and empower them into employment. Liaise with employers and other community stakeholders to advocate for our clients and help them see the advantages of hiring people with disability.

We also play the long game. This job isn’t just about getting people in to work now, it’s about supporting long term and sustainable employment that truly makes a difference.

**Duties**
- Assist clients to set goals for employment including identifying smaller steps along the journey
- Work with employers to help them understand what to expect when hiring someone with disability (e.g. better attendance, great commitment, etc)
- Help clients into work, and support employers and clients to sustain it
- Collaborate with your teammates
- Maintain accurate records
