Jacobs is hiring a **Lead Drafter** for their **Roads and Highways** team in Perth. The main purpose of the role is to provide exceptional standard drafting services to the Roads and Highways team. As Lead Drafter, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of drafting requirements of the Roads and Highways team. You will also be responsible for reviewing all drafting and ensuring compliance with Jacobs and Client drafting standards. As Lead Drafter, you will be responsible for project drafting services and will be required to ensure that the project drafting tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the high technical standards expected of Jacobs by its clients. You will be required to develop procedures, work to instructions, and to co-ordinate your work effectively with other Drafters, Designers, Engineers and Project Managers. Key to the role of Lead Drafter will be providing leadership and support to the Global Integrated Delivery drafting team, including assisting in training and review of work to ensure that it meets the expectations of our local clients. You will have passion for digital engineering and how this relates to the production of project deliverables. You will have a passion for automation, scripting and promoting efficiencies in delivering project and design documentation. You will be a key contributor to how design and documentation integrates digitally. #ANZTransport #APMETransport #LI-DG1 **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Passion for digital engineering and demonstrated track record in production of project drawings - High level appreciation of design software (12D, MX or Civil 3D and actively transitioning to OpenRoads) - Multi skilled in the use of drafting software AutoCAD. MicroStation considered highly beneficial - Ability to manage and delegate responsibilities to a small drafting team. **Jacobs.
