**Assistant Advisor, Employment & Leadership Programs**
- ** SNSW Grade 5/6**

**About the team**:
The **Employment & Leadership Programs** team focuses on the creation, development, and execution of innovative and sustainable employment and leadership programs that align with both government and organisational strategic objectives. This includes driving best practice recruitment strategies to build a diverse, inclusive and highly engaged workforce. In addition, the team fosters leadership development through targeted programs aimed at nurturing and retaining leadership talent.

**About the role**:
As the Assistant Advisor, you will support the team in delivering project plans and objectives within Employment Programs and Leadership Programs. This includes maintaining reporting, analysis of data, researching market trends and maintaining administrative functions whilst adhering to required governance of all programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing project and operational support
- Undertaking basic project research and analysis
- Supporting the team to complete tasks and implementing employment programs
- Providing a range of secretariat and administrative services

**About you**:
You will have:

- an understanding of recruitment practices, diversity & inclusion goals and career succession planning will be highly regarded
- strong administrative and organisational skills and understanding of Government governance

Support office roles will be headquartered across McKell, Parramatta and Gosford. We will consider role headquarters outside of the above locations where the role can reasonably be performed from that location taking into consideration the operational, financial and customer requirements of the role, and an ability to attend a NSW Government workplace as required. At the point an employee is notified of our intention to assign them to a role, the relevant leader will discuss headquarter options.

Salary Service NSW Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $88123 base plus superannuation
