**Role**:Financial Officer

**Location**:Smithfield

**Salary**: $75,000 - $90,000 + Super

**About the company**:

**About you**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reconciling bank statements.
- Accurately processing and recording customer claims, invoices, payments, and credits.
- Handling invoices and receipts efficiently.
- Managing payments, including verification and reconciliation of invoices.
- Conducting weekly or monthly payment processes.
- Keeping an eye on accounts receivables, invoicing, and debtor management.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Communicating with creditors, suppliers, and external accountants.
- General administrative duties.

**To Succeed**:

- Proficiency in using Xero and the Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Initiative and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
