Australian Federal Government Agency has a requirement for an experienced** Budgets and Expenditure **in Canberra or Brisbane.

**Role Summary**:
Collect, cleanse and analyse cost data pertaining to business capabilities delivered through DBIP and develop meaningful metrics for future cost estimation.

Develop library of cost data for the business domain and introduce cost and budget analysis analytics.

Undertake short and long term scanning and research into cost and develop issues and recommendations.

This role will understand how financial performance is linked to capability realisation, both at the program and portfolio levels.

**Responsibility**:
Oversee the financials for a portfolio of projects and programs.

Develop standardised process and practice in alignment with better financial management practices.

Establish practices to enable financial forecasting and reporting

Undertake complex financial analysis to contribute to portfolio performance and planning

Report and provide advice on financial matters and performance.

Work collaboratively with Defence Finance Group, Capability Managers and Program Delivery Managers.

Assure the benefits and outcomes are achieved.

Manage the cumulative impacts of change and actively integrate business realisation activities to achieve enterprise effects.
