**About the Role**

Join our team as a Health and Safety Advisor on a full time, ongoing basis working at multiple sites across the south eastern suburbs. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening organisational capability to drive a culture of change.
- Partnering with frontline leaders and build the capability of managers to implement effective and sustainable Health and Safety management practices.
- Supporting the Regulator interactions.
- NB: There is a requirement to travel to other sites.
- Hybrid working environment.
- 5 weeks annual leave

**About Us**

The OHS Advisory Team provide health and safety coaching, advisory and support, working collaboratively with stakeholders to build capability in relation to managing risk, influencing, and inspiring a positive safety culture. You will be supported for career development and succession planning within a large OHS team structure.

**About You**

You are an experienced and passionate Safety professional with 2 years OHS experience, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence change. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of safety. To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Proven 2 years experience in OHS role.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret relevant Victorian Workplace Health and Safety legislation and provide advice.
- Demonstrated internal consulting experience that has increased line managers knowledge, skills and confidence in organisation improvement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work with leaders and all staff at a strategic and operational level including proven track record in negotiating successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change initiatives across multiple sites and multiple disciplines.
- Well-developed computer literacy

**Mandatory requirements of the role**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health Safety or related
- Incident Investigation training (preferred)
- Current driver’s license
