**The Opportunity**

This is an exciting entry level opportunity to join our procurement team as a Procurement Associate.

In this role you can expect to gain exposure across all key areas of spend, and you will also work with various stakeholders, including suppliers and business partners to deliver great business outcomes.

Supporting the Procurement Managers across Indirects, Packaging & Ingredients, you will also take on direct responsibility to manage spend across a number of categories to build your skills and capabilities and in turn, take on greater responsibility leading to career growth.

**The Accountabilities**
- Direct accountability to deliver category plans and manage inflation, as well as making buying decisions based on the team direction
- Deliver within a category to deliver improved spend outcomes and drive organisational savings
- Work with your team to improve supplier performance in quality, service, risk and spend
- Effectively manage your time to deliver the best outcomes for the whole team
- Daily reporting

**The Ingredients for Success**

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

- 1+year of experience in a comparable role (preferred-not essential)
- Negotiating experience is beneficial. We are looking for someone with a negotiating mindset
- Superior organisation and time management skills
- Intermediate Microsoft skills - especially Excel
- Problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
