**Your Role**

As the _Developmental Educator_ specialising in literacy and language, you will work primarily with children and young adults to improve their language acquisition, literacy skills, and communication abilities. The role involves delivering structured language and literacy programs tailored to each individual’s needs, supporting language development, and fostering communication skills in various settings. The educator will contribute to IEPs as needed but will focus on literacy and language-specific interventions, collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic support for the child.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- **Language and Literacy Program Implementation**:Design and deliver structured programs focusing on language and literacy skills.
- **Client Assessment and Monitoring**:Conduct language and literacy assessments to identify strengths and areas of improvement. Track client progress through regular monitoring and adjust programs accordingly.
- **Therapy Delivery**:Provide language and literacy-focused therapy sessions in various settings, such as telehealth, schools, homes, and community environments.
- **Stakeholder Communication**:Collaborate with families, educators, and other therapists involved in the client's care. Contribute to IEPs where relevant, offering insights on literacy and language progress.
- **Goal Setting and Review**:Develop specific language and literacy goals for each client and review them every 12 weeks with families and relevant stakeholders to assess progress.
- **Clinical Reporting**:Complete detailed clinical notes after each session and ensure timely submission of reports to families and stakeholders.
- **Compliance and Standards**:Adhere to company policies, NDIS standards, workplace health and safety regulations, privacy and confidentiality requirements, and the company's Code of Conduct.
- **Marketing & Branding**:Participate in marketing and branding efforts to promote language and literacy services offered by the company.
- **Professional Development**:Stay current with best practices in literacy and languagedevelopment, and NDIS guidelines.
