We're looking for a **Social Media and Content Creator** to bring the Green Adelaide brand to life through delivering on-trend and high-impact content on environmental topics. Reporting to the Team Leader of Communications, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing the social media strategy and leading the day-to-day management of Green Adelaide’s social channels.
**Your mission?**
To create, schedule, and manage engaging content across our social media channels—showcasing the incredible work we do in urban greening, rewilding, and environmental restoration.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Developing creative content that tells the Green Adelaide story
- Contributing to a content calendar and scheduling posts
- Engaging with our online community and building genuine connections
- Using social media reporting and insights for data-led content refinement
- Collaborating on content which hits broader organisational communication goals
**What you bring**:
- A flair for creating content that informs, inspires, and activates
- Solid experience with social media platforms, trends, and tools
- Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
- Ability to balance creativity with strategy and deadlines

**Contract**:
2 Year Contract
**Special Conditions**:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- May be required to work out of hours.
- A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- Out of hours social media monitoring as required.
**Remuneration**:
ASO4, $76,561 min - $80,256 max p.a.

- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in managing social media channels from copywriting, content planning, scheduling, content creation and reporting across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Demonstrated ability to write and develop attention grabbing, scroll-stopping social media content with the agency's social media strategy and tone of voice.
- Demonstrated creative flair and the ability to collaboratively work with a team to deliver high quality, audience-focused and engaging content.
- Experience using social media management tools and graphic design software such as Canva and/or Adobe, is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organised and efficient, priority orientated, with strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Relevant experience working in social media or communications within an organisation or government is essential.
- Identifies and reports hazards and identifies risk controls where appropriate. A tertiary or post secondary qualification in communication or related field is desirable.
