We are currently seeking a Cashier to join our dynamic team and support the daily financial operations of our hotel.

Position Overview:
As a Cashier at The Star Grand Hotel & Residences, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for processing payments, managing guest accounts, and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded and handled in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
Provide efficient and friendly service to guests by processing payments for room charges, dining, and other services in a timely manner.

Payment Processing:
Accurately handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment. Ensure that all transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Invoice & Billing Management:
Prepare, issue, and update invoices and receipts for guest accounts. Ensure that all charges are correctly applied.

Cash Handling:
Balance cash drawers and ensure the secure storage of cash and financial documents. Prepare daily cash reconciliation reports.

Account Management:
Assist guests with account inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.

Administrative Support:
Assist with the administration of the front desk operations, including answering phones, checking guest accounts, and providing general hotel information.

Compliance & Security:
Ensure all transactions adhere to financial policies and procedures, and maintain the confidentiality of guest financial information.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including front desk and food & beverage, to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Key Requirements:
**Experience**:
Previous experience in a cashier or customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.

Familiarity with hotel billing systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and cash handling procedures is an advantage.

**Skills**:Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions.

Basic math and numerical skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

A friendly and approachable personality with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.23 - $31.18 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus
- Weekly bonus

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
