**Treasury Manager - Funding & Liquidity

**About the role
- Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer
- Developing and executing the funding and liquidity strategy for the Group and its business units
- Contact point for relationship banks in relation to funding and liquidity topics
- Responsibility for developing and maintaining Group Treasury’s relationship with allocated business units, and delivering Group Treasury’s advice and services to them to a high standard
**Day to day in the role
- Assist the Group Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer with developing Woolworths Group’s annual funding plan
- Assist the Group Treasury and Assistant Treasurer with Board papers relating to funding and liquidity
- Assist with the execution of funding transactions e.g. debt capital markets, syndicated loans, bilateral loans and guarantee facilities, including due diligence processes
- Primary person responsible for maintaining funding documentation, including annual updates to programme documents
- Assist in the negotiation of pricing for new, and the refinancing of existing banking facilities
- Monitor and manage compliance with the terms and conditions of Woolworths Group’s debt documents
- Assist the Group Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer with day-to-day management of the Group’s relationship with banks and debt investors
- Assist subsidiaries with managing their funding maturities and the execution of additional funding facilities (as required)
- Review daily Treasury Operations cash management and foreign exchange transactions
- Contribute to Group Treasury initiatives such as process improvements, system implementations and upgrades, etc
- Analyse funding scenarios including their financial impact, assist with interest rate forecasting and other analytics (including rating analysis) for the Group
- Support the Assistant Treasurer with other administrative tasks around the team
- Contribute to a strong performance oriented and value adding culture within Group Treasury

- Previous corporate experience (3-5 years), ideally in funding for an ASX listed company, including in relation to transaction execution and continuous disclosure obligations
- Degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Ability to communicate to and build strong relationship with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise effectively under deadline pressures
- Strong attention to detail
- A keenness to learn and succeed, with a strategic approach to solving issues
