YOUR NEW ROLE
The Merchandise Planner's role is to maximise sales and profit in their categories, through optimal inventory investment and management. The role requires close collaboration with Buying and cross functional partners, to plan and proactively manage inventory through all stages of the product lifecycle and drive commercial outcomes. Providing a strong support to the Senior Merchandise planner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work closely with the Planners and Buyer to maintain a commercial link between financial objectives and how they are achieved through product.
- Work closely with the buyer and business unit to ensure accurate forecasts and maintain in-stock position.
- Work directly with Buyer(s) across all Merchandise activities - from ranging, new product introduction, size and colour analysis and in-season management, to end of life of product.
- Manage inventory to ensure a smooth flow of stock, end to end
- Foster relationships with all key stakeholders, Planning team members and cross functional partners (internal and external) to drive Planning objectives

ABOUT YOU
- 1+ years in a Merchandise Planning environment
- Merchandise experience in a bricks and mortar retail environment
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal) coupled with a customer focused attitude
- Intermediate Excel level and a strong attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Initiative and entrepreneurial drive and can-do attitude
