**Position overview**:
ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the School of Medicine and Psychology, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the National Centre for Epideimiology and Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.

Located in the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR), we are seeking an accomplished manager with relevant experience and expertise in providing an accredited laboratory service. This new position is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your leadership and management skills to establish a new Clinical Phenomics capability between ANU and Canberra Health Services.

Reporting to the Director of Canberra Clinical Phenomics (CCP), the Manager (Operations) will be responsible for leading the operational management, strategic direction, and implementation of CCP. This includes national outreach and partnership with multiple stakeholders.

CCP builds on the ANU investments in Phenomics over the last 20 years. The new Centre will establish a nationally unique and internationally leading capacity for integration and delivery of in-depth blood and protein (‘phenomic’) diagnostics for the delivery of precision medicine. CCP will be developed in conjunction with Canberra Clinical Genomics (CCG), which was established as a joint venture between Canberra Health Services (CHS) and the ANU. The key aim of the CCP is to establish Canberra as a Centre of Excellence for precision diagnostics and medicine, providing new diagnostic and phenomics tools to overcome translational hurdles that prevent progress in patient treatment - supporting clinicians to evaluate novel treatment for patients, and supporting data gathering in clinical trials.
