Head of Strategic Execution

Reporting to the Chief of Technology & Strategy, you will introduce and iterate on an approach to Strategic Execution in our new way of working and through this, drive the successful delivery of our most strategically important initiatives. This role is pivotal in our journey to transform and adapt to the evolving landscape and to making ambitious things happen faster.- This role also includes facilitating and continuously improving our enterprise planning and prioritisation process to ensure we focus on the right things. Executing on strategy includes oversight of the delivery and direction of key programs of work that require multiple areas of the business to deliver.- As the Head of Strategic Execution, your key responsibilities include:- program direction of some of our most strategic programs-
- leadership of a chapter of Program/Project Managers - building capabilities and putting in place and iterating on frameworks to deliver in new ways of working-
- monitoring and tracking of execution to strategy as well as co-ordination and continued enhancement of the enterprise wide quarterly planning process- Important to your success - let's grow together- Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and an understanding of Agile principles at an enterprise level
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex programs within an Agile environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams and chapters.
- Extensive experience in the designing and implementing processes, frameworks and controls for delivery of programs within an agile environment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams.
- Adept at driving organisational change and fostering a culture of agility.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Familiarity with the insurance industry, its products, and market dynamics is a plus. Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
- Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or SAFe certifications are highly desirable
