**The Role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller and with 3 Accounts Receivable Team Members, we are currently seeking a Full-Time Team Leader
- Accounts Receivable, to join our Finance Team. The purpose of this role is to manage, support and ensure the integrity of the Accounts Receivable processes and systems.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure accuracy of Beacon Lighting Groups debtors ledgers
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- Daily banking and cash receipting
- Allocation and reconciliation of payments received against customer accounts
- Processing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals
- Complete daily sales integrations
- Regular follow up and collection of all overdue customer balances, paying special attention 60 days plus overdue
- Review of credit limits
- Creation of new debtor accounts and perform the necessary credit reference checks in line with company procedure
- Liaise with internal and external customers with regards to account queries
- Preparation of collection letters and payment arrangements
- Completion of month end processes and reporting requirements

**Period End Processes**:

- Ensure all cash receipts are processed in the correct accounting period
- Process intercompany invoices and credit notes
- Produce invoices for miscellaneous charges
- Generate monthly debtor statements
- Follow up of debtors over 90 days
- Ensure trial balances are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide advice to Financial Controller of any year end cutoff issues
- Assist the Accounting Team in responding to external auditor AR documentation requests
- Liaise with the Financial Controller regarding any year end debtor write-offs

**About You**

To be successful, you will have:

- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel
- Previous experience in a similar role with team leadership experience
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Highly organized, good time management and prioritization skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven skills using your initiative and being proactive
- Well-rounded skills working effectively within a team
