**Workshop Manager - Structural Steel & Fabrication**

**Location**: KeenWorx - Unit 1/8 Blackmore Road, Smeaton Grange NSW
**Pay**: $30-$45 per hour (depending on experience)
**Employment Type**: Full-time preferred (can start casual with view to permanent)

**Fearfab Pty Ltd T/A KeenWorx** is a growing metal fabrication company in Smeaton Grange, NSW. We specialise in **structural steel, general fabrication, welding, and laser cut componentry** for Tier 1 builders, contractors, and private clients.

We're now looking for a hands-on **Workshop Manager** for our workshop to help with production, workflow, and team performance on the floor.

**About the Role**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the fabrication workshop
- Coordinate workload across welding, cutting, grinding, and assembly tasks
- Maintain job tracking, quality control, and workshop documentation
- Ensure team members are working safely, productively, and meeting deadlines
- Liaise with the Director and Engineer regarding project requirements
- Supervise apprentices and ensure adherence to fabrication standards
- Monitor material usage and assist with procurement as needed

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Trade-qualified boilermaker/fabricator or equivalent hands-on background
- Proven leadership experience in a metal fabrication or steel workshop
- Able to read and interpret structural steel and workshop drawings
- Strong understanding of welding, tolerances, and quality expectations
- Confident communicator and problem-solver on the shop floor
- Organised and able to drive output without compromising safety or quality

**Nice to Have**:

- Forklift ticket and experience with overhead cranes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS or traceability documentation
- Experience with small-batch/custom fabrication workflows

- **Hours**: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
