**About this Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced **Production Operator** to join our **Blowmould** team at our Harvey operation.
Reporting to the Production Manager your duties will include:
- The operation, adjustment and cleaning of blowmoulder and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, operational and safety standards.
- Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.
- Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals and to report excessive wastage to the Coordinator.
- Assist in maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, CIP testing and recording.
We require a team oriented and highly skilled Operator who is self-motivated and able to work varying types of shift work and overtime as required.
**You will have**:
- Previous dairy/food industry experience in blow moulding machine operations and packaging equipment such as baggers and de-baggers;
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn;
- Good attention to detail;
- Interested in fault-finding/troubleshooting
- Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
- High level of attention to detail, good at fault finding/trouble shooting skills.
- Strong focus on quality and hygiene.
- Understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.
- Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be a team player.
- Be able to follow procedures and undertake quality checks.
- Strong focus towards safety and Lactalis Values and Behaviours.
- Experience performing labour intensive and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable transport and drivers licence.
