Automotive Electrical Apprenticeship- Fire Rescue

Jobs have an exciting opportunity to become a qualified Automotive Electrician with a renowned government organisation in Melbourne's North. We are seeking a 1st year apprentice who is keen and committed to a 4 year apprenticeship.

**About the Apprenticeship**:

- Join a leading and well-known organisation with over 2,200 employees
- Work on unique vehicles with excellent training from tradespeople with decades of experience
- Receive a dedicated mentor through the duration of your apprenticeship, with assistance enrolling into TAFE

**Duties**:

- Isolating and diagnosing electrical faults or issues in computer-based equipment in vehicles
- Repairing, testing and maintaining electrical parts and wiring
- Dismantling and removing components as required
- Comply with pre-determined maintenance schedules
- Maintain a clean and tidy work space at all times
- Adhere to safe working practices at all times

- An interest in electronics and strong mathematical ability
- Problem solving skills

- Valid drivers licence is preferable but not essential
- Minimum Year 10 qualification
