**Responsibilities**:
- Perform inspections and repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose, repair, maintain and test heavy vehicles in the automotive industry
- Change, rotate or repair tires, change oil, give tune-up and complete inspections
- Fix worn brake pads or wheel bearing
- Adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies
- General vehicle service, maintenance & repairs
**Requirements**:
- A valid P1 or higher driver’s license and personal reliable transportation is required
- White/OHS Card
- Pre-Apprenticeship and/or relevant work experience desirable
- Up to date with Covid-19 vaccination
- Valid Police Check required
- Hearing test required
- Must be Australian Citizen or resident
- Genuine interest in the trade
- This is a full time position
**AGA Apprentices will**:
- Work full time ( 40 hours per week)
- Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (Paid for by AGA)
- Receive ongoing mentoring & support
- Receive a weekly wage including entitlements
- Obtain personal protective equipment
