We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated **Female Support Workers** to join the team supporting a couple of lovely older ladies who live in Forest Lake. Set shifts may suit the lifestyle of a local student or a retiree. These roles are 15+ hours a week.

Specifically, carers are required for the morning and evening routines as manual hoisting and transfers need to be performed safely. Training to use the hoist will be provided by the Occupational Therapist so its ok if you haven't used one before. Other duties will include:

- Meal preparation
- Assisting with personal care, dressing, grooming
- Medication administration
- Preparing for daily outings and appointments

**Shifts Available**
- **7am-9am - Mon to Sun**:

- **5pm-7pm - Mon to Sun**
- If you have transport, additional 2hr shifts are also available with other participants across South/West Brisbane.

**Must haves**
- An ability to bring your enthusiasm, positive attitude, creativity and interests to work, to engage and motivate people to pursue their interests and to live a safe healthy and dignified life.
- Ongoing availability Mon - Sun. Committing to a regular set shift, all or some days.

**Desirable**
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle. Sometimes you may be required to assist the person to attend activities in the community with you. Mileage allowance is paid
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and CPR

Pay: $31.76 - $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
