**About the team**:
Supply Chain makes life easier, safer and more sustainable across our network. Our team works with thousands of trusted businesses every day to bring together our suppliers, distribution centres and stores. By keeping those relationships strong and processes running smoothly, we’re able to maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers.

**About the role**:
The Coles DC network is about to undergo a major transition to an automated model of distribution, and we need a key individual to assist us over this period.

This 2 year fixed term role will play a key part in rolling out our ways of working alongside our transport partners across the new Automated DC network. Use your supply chain knowledge and analytical skills to help develop and monitor our delivery network impacts and risks.

You will also:

- Be accountable for the assessment of modelled scenarios and evaluating the success criteria of each scenario
- Identify cost saving and efficiency opportunities and manage key stakeholders across the network
- Model and evaluate transition approaches utilising information retrieved from stakeholders across the DC environment
- Become a systems expert for all transport related tools to provide ground support to transport staff prior to and during the transition

***About you and your skills**:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics industry with exposure to modelling or implementing retail or high frequency distribution sites.

You’ll also have;
- The ability to work independently, gather and analyse data for the purpose of providing transport insights and modelling outcomes
- Strong proven track record in retail networks with demonstrated proficiency translating network models to a financial forecast.
- Strong analytical ability relating to process optimisation and system implementation
