We have a pool of positions available for Learn to Swim Teachers to join our Aquatics Team at Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre (SGAC) at West HQ.

**What does a Learn to Swim Teacher do?**

A Learn to Swim Teacher plays an important role in educating the community on the importance of gaining swimming and water safety skills and understanding the principles and practices of water safety.

The role expects the Learn to Swim Teacher to deliver high quality programs for all students, providing great customer service and enthusiasm about teaching swimming and water safety.

**Who is right for the job?**

Enthusiastic, energetic, reliable, and committed Learn to Swim Teachers who are conscientious about developing swimming and water safety skills through passion and providing a positive swimming culture in a safe learning environment.

Swimming Teachers with AUSTSWIM Extension courses would be highly considered for this position.

**What do you need to be considered?**
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
- NSW Working with Children Check (18+)
- Current CPR Certificate
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant & Preschool Aquatics (Desirable)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes (Desirable)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Access & Inclusion (Desirable)
- AUSTSIWM Teacher of Adults (Desirable)
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Desirable)
