**Introduction**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervision: Lead and manage a team of catering assistants during the afternoon shift, ensuring they adhere to operational standards and procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all patients receive their meals in a timely and satisfactory manner. Anticipate and respond to patient needs promptly and professionally.
- Problem Solving: Handle any issues that arise with efficiency and composure, whether related to staff, service, or patient concerns. Take proactive measures to prevent problems before they escalate.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of meals served, ensuring they meet dietary requirements and food safety standards.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to new and existing catering staff, helping them understand their responsibilities and ensuring high standards of service.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Team Management: Motivate and support your team, fostering a positive and productive working atmosphere.

Monday to Saturday 1430 to 2030

**Description**:

- Passionate about customer service and patient care
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
- Previous experience in catering or hospitality (supervisory experience preferred)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
