Café Supervisor

The Church of Secular Coffee at Monash University is looking for a Cafe Supervisor to join the hussle and bussle of the Monash University Campus

- Operation Hours - Monday - Friday 8 am - 3 pm
- Majority of the main public holidays off
- Summer off (Christmas to mid-January)

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual to manage a Cafe located in the middle of Monash University, Clayton Campus.

**The successful applicant for this role will have the following qualities**:

- A passion for all things food and beverage
- 3+ years of supervisor experience
- Sound knowledge of restaurant operations
- Strong coffee knowledge and always wanting to learn new trends
- Strong management skills and the ability to guide all front-of-house staff
- Strong focus on exceeding customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Wants to work for a growing business and show with it

**The role will include the following responsibilities**:

- The facilitation of smooth and well-managed service periods with the aim of delivering a memorable dining experience
- Training and mentoring all baristas and front-of-house staff
- Management of wage and beverage costs within set budgets
- Financial responsibility, including cash handling and balancing
- Manage the social media
- Use your leadership skills to drive a passionate team.
- Come up with ideas to increase sales

**Salary**: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
