**About the role**

We currently have an opportunity for a support officer to join our recently acquired Citi operations in their IAU (Independent Appraisal Unit) team. This role is responsible for completing the day to day administrative tasks to support and assist the Valuation Officer with valuation reviews on securities associated with the mortgage processes for new to bank and existing customers as well as reviews for Risk Management and Mortgage Collection.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

- Perform compliance and verification tasks accurately by adhering to standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Take ownership of one’s individual performance metrics including productivity with a focus on quality at all times
- Completing valuation review checklist of low risk property valuations/reports within SLA and allocate the high value and high risk valuations to the IAU Officers for review.
- Maintain knowledge of the policy changes and developments in the Australian property market conditions
- Liaise with internal and external colleagues and maintain effective working relationships at all times
- Perform administrative duties as assigned by the manager within the required agreed time frame

**About you**

The Valuation Support Officer will:

- Have a knowledge of the valuation process and Australian residential property market
- Understanding of the Australian Mortgages environment (preferable)
- Ability to communicate and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail

To be successful in this role you will need:

- 3 years banking industry experience
- 1 year mortgage processing role (preferred)
- High level of computer literacy in MS Power point and Word/intermediate level in Excel

High School Certificate or Equivalent
