**Your New Role**:
6 Month Contract Role - The UX Designer is responsible the creation, evaluation and iteration of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs for Australian Unity digital experiences.

Working with a small Digital Design team, the role requires using UI/UX design best practice to deliver a human-centered and engaging user experience that promote the brand’s values, products and services leading to increased usage of and conversion via digital channels.

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:

- The creation of engaging, innovative, and measurable experiences (through sketches, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, UI design, and other design artefacts).
- Partner closely with our UX Researcher to develop prototypes and iterate designs in line with customer insights and feedback
- Prototyping, wireframes, and iterative development of concepts
- Production of high-fidelity interface and interaction designs
- Gather and interpret data, using findings to inform design rationale
- Drive a genuine, customer centric culture through sustained leadership commitment
- Embed an operationally sustainable system to listen, learn and respond to customer and employee feedback

**About You**:
With a focus on creating experiences that our customers love, the UX/UI Designer will solve complex customer problems with clever design solutions, and must be able to understand and conduct research, gather insights, and business needs and translate into concepts that are simple and functionally effective.
- Extensive experience in UI/UX design (across desktop, mobile, tablet) with knowledge of user-centred design methodologies
- Strong design, documentation and prototyping skills using tools such as Axure, InVision, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, or similar
- Have a passion for elegant, simple and innovative designs with an excellent portfolio of design solutions across a spectrum of devices and services
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working as part of a large internal team with Content and Development
