**About the position**
Working closely with the Finance and Operations teams this role is responsible for developing and implementing operational solutions for our loan portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this position incorporates a broad spectrum of administration, and general business support activities. As Moula evolves and expands so will this position therefore you must be flexible, resilient, innovative, and highly motivated.
The Lending Operations Lead is responsible for helping to oversee all aspects of the lending process. This will include partner accreditations, dispute resolution, customer payment allocation and customer account closure.
**Key responsibilities**
- Ensure daily customer payments and refunds are applied to their respective accounts without errors
- Loan disbursement processing and reconciliation
- Process weekly partner commission payments and resolve queries
- Manage the broker and aggregator partner onboarding
- Perform periodic reviews of partner accreditations and credentials to ensure Moula’s third party partners are consistently monitored, managed and validated as accredited
- Maintenance of customer’s account including closing out loans, disputes and supporting the cross-functional team
- Provide timely support to internal teams and assisting the Head of Operations with general operational requests
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Mentor, coach, and develop support team to elevate capability and standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Maintain the system of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the loan portfolio
- Ensuring adherence and compliance to the company’s policies and procedures
- Provide regular statistics, reports and tracking of activities
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
- Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
- Intermediate skills in of Salesforce and MS Office
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven experience in a fast-paced operational analysis role
- Fantastic ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible and resilient approach
- Dedication to customer service excellence (internal and external)
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
