**About the Hospital**: Our Animal Emergency Services (AES) Hobart hospital is a vibrant hub, delivering exceptional emergency veterinary care with passion and commitment. We prioritise gold-standard patient care and create an environment where our team can thrive. We are looking for a new Veterinary Administration Manager to be an inspiring leader to our vet team.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Be the cornerstone of support for our frontline teams, who are the heart of our hospitals
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Drive financial management and hospital reporting with a focus on team collaboration.
- Lead projects and ensure smooth operations to enhance team performance.
- Partner with our Clinical Manager to champion outstanding patient outcomes.
- Oversee rostering and resources, ensuring our veterinary teams are equipped to excel.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- A dynamic leader with experience in operations and a strong background in people development, onboarding, and performance management.
- Expertise in staff costing management and project coordination, with a people-focused approach.
- Proven experience in leading small to medium teams, inspiring others through your approachability and transparency.
- A natural relationship builder, adept at fostering connections and problem-solving.
- Flexibility in working hours to support our team and business needs.
- A detail-oriented multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the veterinary industry (formal qualifications are a bonus but not essential).
- Flexible with hours. PPT 30-38 hours per week
