The School of Information and Physical Sciences (SIPS) accommodates the disciplines of Mathematics, Data Science and Statistics, Computing and Information Technology, and Physics. **How will you inspire us**
- Completed a doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT or a related area in mobile app development.
- Evidence of high teaching quality, effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students that will improve or innovate in response to feedback).
- Demonstrated record of staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and professional development (e.g., self-directed learning, certifications, courses, research outputs)
- Publications or non-traditional research outputs in high-quality outlets and ability to attract funding to support research projects.
- Evidence of high quality course content creation, including teaching and learning-focused research to continuously improve the CIT curriculum.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods for optimal student experience.
- Ability to efficiently perform in allocated internal roles, sharing academic service responsibilities, contributing to outcomes of internal committees, and developing external collaborations (e.g., student and industry outreach).
- Skills in active supervision of honours, masters and/or Higher Degree by Research postgraduate research projects.

Desirable skills include:

- Experience in working with industry on research and educational projects such as Work Integrated Learning.
- Demonstrated success in advancing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in a previous role.
