**The Role**

A number of exciting opportunities at the EL 1 Level are available to join across the Security and Estate Group (SEG) in the Program Management and Governance Branch.

The
**Directorate of Information Graphics and eResources** has three vacancies where you will have opportunity to engage in a multifaceted, high tempo environment bringing rewarding challenges and a great sense of purpose.

**EL1 Assistant Director Contracts**
- You will provide procurement and contract management for a number of vital Defence services, lead an experienced team, and will engage stakeholders and problem solving to achieve seamless service delivery.
- You will manage a large value contract for the Defence Administrative Assistance Program providing upwards of 125 contracted people with disability the opportunity to engage in meaningful work via basic administrative assistance to Defence and drive the disability inclusion program across Defence.
- Additionally you will manage contracts/procurement and maintain the Defence Library systems providing Library eResources with a multimillion dollar annual budget to 11,600 Defence users as well as market the Defence Online Library Resources across Defence.

The position also provides contracting advice to our ongoing contracted Business Optimisation Project undertaking process analysis, improvement & modelling.

**EL1 Assistant Director (2 vacancies).**
These roles provides business process mapping capability in Security and Estate Group for the purpose of optimizing and sustaining our investment in process improvement projects.

In these roles:

- You will lead a team to provide high quality integrated services that enable business efficiencies and evidence based decision making through compliance and key communications.
- You will be experienced in administration of policy and procedures would be a valuable skill set and a knowledge of records management in a government context.

The position is responsible for the management of intranet sites (SharePoint) that provide information across Service Delivery.

The
**Directorate of Digital Service Delivery** has two vacancies. If you are passionate about making a difference to customers and excited by the opportunity to deliver innovative digital solutions, then this may be the team for you.

The Directorate of Digital Service Delivery is a high performing team leading digital integrated service delivery transformation across the organisation and our work is strongly connected and closely aligned with the Defence Transformation Strategy and Service Delivery Framework.

The projects and changes being delivered across service delivery in Defence are both highly valued by Australian Defence Force members and their families, and are highly visible and important to our Senior Leadership Group.

**EL1 Assistant Director Product Management.**
- You will lead as small team of Product Owners to manage the agile delivery of digital service products.
- You will manage escalated issues and competing priorities across a complex portfolio to ensure risks and issues are effectively and efficiently managed.
- You will drive outcomes to ensure the voice of the customer is represented in products, and
- You will have opportunity to employ superior analytical skills and solid judgement when identifying problems and ways to resolve them.

**EL1 Assistant Director Program Management.**
You will lead as small team in the Program Management Office through a fast-paced environment to support program delivery.

Your daily duties will include managing the program budget, commercial engagements, procurement, workforce, information and records, and governance and reporting requirements in order to provide assurance to the program director.
